⚠️ Our Prescribing Policy — please read before registering

• We follow HSE and ICGP prescribing guidelines strictly for all medications, including controlled drugs.
• We do not prescribe benzodiazepines, opioids, z-drugs, or other controlled substances on a first or early consultation. Any such prescription requires a full clinical assessment and review of your complete prior medical records.
• We require access to your previous GP's records before prescribing any controlled drug already listed on your repeat prescription. Patients must sign a records-release authorisation at registration.
• We participate in HSE Prescriptions Monitoring and are notified when a patient is registered with multiple practices simultaneously. Patients found to be attending multiple GPs concurrently may be removed from our panel.
• Our GPs reserve the right to decline a prescription request if it is not clinically indicated, regardless of a patient's previous prescribing history elsewhere.
• The practice reserves the right to decline or terminate registration at its discretion, including where the prescribing expectations of a patient are inconsistent with our policy.
