Fasting — Only If Your Bloods Are Due
If your CDM bloods are due at this appointment, you must fast from midnight the night before. This means no food or drink except plain water from midnight onwards. Fasting is needed for accurate blood results (glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides).
If your bloods aren't due, no bloods are taken and you don't need to fast. We'll tell you which applies when we ring to book your appointment.
Medications: Continue all regular medications as normal with a small sip of water.
