If you hold a valid medical card or GP visit card, most GP consultations and services are provided at no charge. Fees may apply for certain non-GMS (General Medical Services scheme) services such as insurance reports, driving medicals, some certificates, and routine blood tests (other than those covered under the Chronic Disease Management / Prevention Programme).

You may be entitled to tax relief on GP fees and other qualifying medical expenses at the standard rate (20%). Claims can be made through Revenue's MedEx system at revenue.ie. We can provide receipts on request.
Payment is due at the time of consultation unless other arrangements have been agreed in advance.
